I am an African.

I am an African,
Not because my skin is black
I was born here and my heart beats with Africa’s
My soul is at peace in this land
they say I smile more in African than anywhere else
That's because in Africa, I am at home.
 Africa is born in me
and that relates me to this land, its' history, and culture
you may call it Africa, but I call it home.
Once an African, always an African at heart
You can take me out of Africa
but you will never take Africa out of me.
I am an African and I am not ashamed of it.
Wow...I am an African!
