The Blooming Season.

Nabot, seated next to the President on the left.

It was such a great thrill for me to see one of our previous students in the News paper seated next to the president!
Nabot was one of our students at community Hope school but now he is currently in grade 11 at Windhoek Technical school. He came by Community Hope the other day to see us and to tell us the good news, that he and some of his old classmates from CHS passed grade 10 with flying colors!

I couldn't contain my excitement when I heard the news, I was so proud of him! I was and still I am so proud of them all! :) :)
Today Nabot is in gr. 11 and he is also part of a group of teenagers called the Poverty Eradication Warriors. The office of the President has offered its support to the group who planned a clean-up campaign as well as to run a soup kitchen in Katutura for the poor. I really thank God for carrying them all the way. I pray, trust and thank Him as He continues to carry them and save them for His name's sake. It is such an amazing blessing when you invest in someone's life, even if it is just a little bit and live to see their blooming season or first fruits. Some times the workers have to leave the fields and never get to see the flowers blooming but I am thankful that I got to see these ones and I hope to see the first fruits after high school.

Once the flowers begin blooming, workers leave the fields. Because blooming is a delicate process and absolutely essential the health of the plant, no one enters the fields during this time. - See more at: http://www.cafebritt.com/experience-britt/journey-to-origin/Blooming-Season#sthash.PIaFWFjf.dpuf
