Moral Values.

We live in a world obsessed with personal value. What people do depends on their personal values, but since everyone's values are different, there seems to be no standard by which we must all live.
Homes and communities continues to fail every day the more we deny our need for God and to live right. They crumble the moment we think we can set our own rules for our lives and we will fail in developing respectful, obedient and responsible citizens. For this week's chapel, we had Jerald come in and share more on this subject. The importance of moral value and character based on 1 Corinthians 13 and Mathew 7:12.
The beauty of Christianity is the fact that it goes beyond all other religions in that it is more than just a system of do’s and don’ts; it is a relationship with the living God through His Son, Jesus Christ. A Christian’s set of moral values go beyond society’s mores and selfish instincts.  Every act of obedience is based on love and a desire to please God. Whether we believe it or not moral values, directly or indirectly, affect everything we do in life. We divided the students in to 8 groups and each group had to come up with different moral values that they were taught at home and school and how they live that out practically in every area of their lives.
